As the package of boneless pork chops and I stared at each other trying to figure out how we can leave the Shake-N-Bake in the cabinet and add some actual flavor, I remembered that one of my husband’s favorite meals at our favorite restaurant is a pork chop stuffed with bacon, apple, and cheese. This is what the pork chops and I came up with…

Savory Stuffed Pork Chops Drizzled with some Sweet Heat Honey-Whiskey Sauce

Boneless pork chops stuffed with sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, diced apple, breadcrumbs rolled, seared, baked then finished with a spicy honey whiskey glaze drizzle.

Here's how I did it 👇

1 pk of boneless Pork chops

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

2 tbs Olive Oli

Stuffing

½ cup plain Panko

1 tsp of Pumpkin Pie spice

1 tbs fresh Rosemary

1 tsp Black Pepper

1 cup of diced fresh Apple

1/2 block of white Cheddar cheese shredded

4 slices of cooked Bacon crispy/rough chop (*Do not use Bacon Bits)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375

Mix Panko, Apples, Cheese, Bacon, Pumpkin Pie spice, Rosemary and Black Pepper

Step 2

Pound out pork chops - Place in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag and use the flat side of a tenderizer until pork chop is approx ⅛’ thick

Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper

Spread stuffing on pork chops

Roll, seal with a toothpick

Step 3

Heat 2 tbs Olive oil in an oven-safe skillet

Sear rolled chops 5 mi each side

Finish in 375 oven uncovered for 30 min or until internal temperature reaches 145

Sweet with Some Heat Whiskey Sauce

1.25 c Brown Sugar

½ c Spicy Honey (or regular honey)

12 oz Honey Whiskey (or regular whiskey)

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Onion powder

Step 4

Mix ingredients together and bring to a boil
